Carer Counselling & Guidance Cell
The Career Counselling and Guidance Cell is a wing under Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, the University of Delhi. It aims to create a dynamic forum to cater to the needs pertaining to career guidance and counselling. We serve to provide efficiency towards the path of vital career resolutions and develop a foremost point of career-related resources alongside a holistic growth for each department in SBSC.
About the College
Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, named after the great son of India, Shaheed-e-Azam, Sardar Bhagat Singh, was established as a co-educational college in 1967 as a constituent college of the University of Delhi. It acquired postgraduate status in a record time of 7 years. The College takes pride in celebrating its Golden Jubilee Year in 2016-17. Over a period of 50 years, the college has distinguished itself in diverse academic and professional fields by providing a vibrant and intellectually stimulating academic culture, to promote the independence of thought and vision. The college is equipped with a fully computerized Library with state of the art facilities to upgrade the knowledge, skills and capabilities needed for the complex business environment of the 21st century. Besides, the college has adequate infrastructure including Computer Labs, a big Sports Ground with a cricket pitch, a volleyball court, basketball court, etc. The college is proud of its well-known alumni who have contributed meaningfully in diverse fields of business, culture and society at large. The departments offered are Commerce, Economics, English, History, Political Science, Geography, Hindi, Mathematics and B.A Programme.
What We Do
The Career Counselling and Guidance Cell stands to build knowledgeable pathways of multiple career avenues and provide students with the needed counselling while building an in-depth library of resources freely accessible to all departments. In addition, its functions include bringing in eminent speakers for illuminating sessions on crucial and non-conventional topics involving education, profession, and life, ensuring clear understanding for all. Our goal is to help you discover the right path for yourself while learning immensely in the process.
