As the covid era drastically changed the mode of communication for everyone, the cell organized a workshop on the internet and online communication to aid the transition. A talk was organised on BUILDING RELATIONSHIP CAPITAL ON & OFFLINE a workshop designed to help you connect with new people & maintain healthy relationships with them. It aimed to serve as a chance to build relationship capital through soft skills & handle interpersonal relationships, with the trio of eminent speakers like Sameer Somal (CFA, CFP, CAIA) CEO, Blue Ocean Global Tech, Co-Founder Girl Power Talk along with Khushboo Mishra (Senior Business Analyst) and Ashvitha S (Video Editor). An insightful session covering topics like the psychology of networking, providing impactful first impressions, tips for building relationship capital, and many more. The workshop was conducted by the cell around November.

 

Mr Sameer sir started the webinar by telling the future of networking and our digital presence. And tell us about networking and success correlation as research shows that 15% of one's success is based on technical skills, while 85% is due to the ability to connect as the stronger your network, the greater are your chance of becoming a success. He guides us about our first impression, in which he tells us that body language can be extremely powerful when it comes to networking and building relationship with others. Within a few seconds of meeting you, people subconsciously make inferences, assumptions and judgement. He believes that success isn’t about how much money you make, it’s about to difference you make in people’s lives. He also tells us about emotional intelligence which consists of self-awareness, social awareness, self-management, relationship management.
