In recent times the recruitment procedures all over the world have changed significantly. According to a survey only 4 people out of 250 are chosen for an interview, and this decision is made solely based on their resume. Hence, to achieve the perfect dream job one’s resume should speak for itself. Keeping the same in mind the Career Counselling and Guidance Cell organized a webinar lately on Resume Building designed to assist students in creating a great resume that will catch the attention of potential employers.

Ms Miti Shah is a 20-year-old content creator and social media influencer. In only a year, she has grown her audience from zero to over 75,000 followers, with 8 million and 3 million-plus views on reels. She has trained 350+ people on social media interviews, resume building, and content creation internships, as well as engaged in various collaborations with major educational institutions, financial brands, and non-profits all around the world.

Miti Shah begins the webinar with a question "What is a resume", so it is a brief overview of your professional and educational qualifications and is like your first impression. Then she talks about what your resume should contain and what areas we should focus on if we don't have any work experience. She then shows her resume and talks about the dos and don'ts. At last, she talks about LinkedIn profiles and How to find internships at LinkedIn. This webinar proved to be a grand success as the audience gained loads of insights on how to upskill their resume-building skills and hammered home the lesson that only a well-written resume decides the amount and quality of jobs.
