As career counselling acts as a backbone to one's career resolution, the members of the cell conducted a webinar that aimed at enlightening college students from different courses on how to proceed and reflect upon their career and professional journey in a competitive world. The goal was to make them aware of varied opportunities ahead of them apart from mainstream professions named Right Career, Right Now by Dhairya Gangwani.

Ms Dhairya Gangwani is an Electronics and Communication engineer turned Management Consultant. She is currently working with KPMG in India as an SAP Associate Consultant. Primarily working on cloud P2P technologies such as SAP Ariba and Coupa. she has done over 25+ Internships with various companies and startups across the globe, in the fields of Business Development, Business Analysis, Content Writing & Creation, Market Research, Marketing, Operations & alike.

According to Ms Dhairya Gangwani, most people do not know their passion, in her opinion passion can get in the way. Then she talks about five steps to choose your right career path i.e. 1) Find out your USP. 2) Explore different domains. 3) Gain practical experience. 4) Network. 5) Perform a SWOT analysis. Later she talks about the career options that one can pursue on their B.Com, CFA, MBA and some unconventional career paths which are prevalent in the market like Content Writing, SEO Specialist, Hosting, Podcasting, Social Media Manager, Blogger, Photography, Graphic Designing, video editing, animation etc. With this, she ends the session.
